³⁰ But if a redemption payment is imposed on the owner instead of the death penalty, he must pay whatever is imposed on him to save his life. ³¹ This is also the ruling that applies to him if the ox has gored someone’s son or daughter. ³² But if the ox gores a male servant or a female servant, thirty shekels of silver shall be given to the servant’s owner, and the ox is to be stoned to death.
